Went on a shopping trip today to find fabric..WOW is this a beautiful Fall print? Love it.
I used this fabric for the inside of the purse/bags I did for the Fall Cumberland Dog Show in MD. They turned out beautiful, did you get one of these bags?

Now taking orders for the "Pumpkin" reversible tote bags. The embroidery design is shinny and iridescent as it is stitched using Mylar. The reverse inside of the bag has an Autumn design in oranges and yellow Fall colors. It can be carried either way. Price is $27 + sh of $3.   contact me at veldt@comcast.net  2013 note I have one or two of these left.

The Beautiful Rhodesian Ridgeback Reversible Totes are finished.  What an exciting project. They will be awarded at the Upper Potomac Valley dog shows in Maryland in Oct. 2012. I am supporting the show one day and Kammi another day. There is a medallion to be awarded and the Breed winners are sure to have a tote bag to carry and accommodate there winnings.
The totes are made of cotton and the inside is an animal print. I put the design together about 4 yrs ago. The text on each bag is different and one of the Ridgebacks is a liver nose. If you are a lucky winner, enjoy your tote.  I need to make one for me. Contact me if you would like a custom made Ridgeback Tote.  Kimma Hefner

Here is a sneak preview of what I am working next. Can you guess what it is? This is how an embroidery design starts out..Interesting huh?

The Grand Finally design, the Cornucopia. The most difficult of the designs to stitch, lots of colors and hoop changes, but fun to do and even more fun to carry.. This one is the cooks. :)

Got a email from Pat in WV and she loves her Sunflower bag also, suggested I sell a few..
Betty Jo received her tote in WV, unwrapped it at the post office and had Piper the Ridgeback wear it home with the mail inside...I want a picture of that...She loves her design.

And the final four, the sunflower and the acorn are in WV now, their new home..Working with the Mylar has been fun and the designs are beautiful.

Autumn Hatstack

Ah! the Pumpkin Bags. Top shows the reversible Autumn design on the inside of these tote bags. I had purchased this material at Marion's Fabric several yrs ago, knowing I would find something fabulous to make. There are two Pumpkin designs, one is sitting tall with a lighter background and the other is on its side with a medium background color..both turned out quite well. These two are smiling in PA

My birthday bag from Sherry, blue hen looking on with the flying moon witch..:) This is such a versatile little tote bag,,love it..

e
Here are two of the Mylar design bags, great for carrying those little things. The Oak leaves are done with the dark Mylar and the Maple leaves are embroidered with the Opalescence Mylar, really shinny and iridescent. Thanks to Sherry T for the pattern and the Birthday Bag she made for me..

It time for Fall and the Autumn colors. This is a Drexler Wall Hanging I did in 2008, love the inspiration she gives to her designs..
