Well, I gotta say I am having fun with this requested embroidery design,,,A Donkey she says....Ok here is the first and second attempt.  The little blue sandwich and drink tote bag is cute BUT the donkey looks quite disgruntled, but perhaps that is the way of donkeys...
The second attempt is a design from Cactus Punch and should be a good one...as I am watching it stitch out, I realized something was not quite right, hummm a five legged donkey, I don't think so..!!
Well, five legs is down to four legs and about to be a large tote bag.
I found two more design and will attempt to do them next week, that is after I quit laughing at "Five Legs"

Here is rooseter #5, they just keep getting better..He really stand out on the med shaded fabric...Looks like he is crowing, gobble gabble..Today I decided that #7 would go on a tote bag. I will be using the chicken wire fabric, that I though would look nice.

Rooster #4. He has so many white feathers, I thought a darker background would make him pot, no no, pop, make him pop.  What do you think?  Enjoyed stitching him on both machines..follow me on email!! Kimma

Rooster #3 with his beautiful green and grey tail feathers...and a headdress to die for..!

This is Rooster 2, embroidered on the BabyLock Ellegante. I like the shinny green feathers in the tail. The thread is Florinia & very shinny, one of my favorites. This is for a 16" pillow and I think it will smooth out nicely after I get the backing cut away.

First one out of the hoop this year (2013). This is the Rooster collection from Anita Goodesign CD..there are 10 in all and I am hoping to do all of them..Please let me know what you think and if one would look good at your house?
This is #1 design and done on the Ellegante BabyLock Embroidery Machine. I was pleased that I got the machine up and running with only a brief tutorial from the girl at the Sewing Store..I worked on the Babylock about 4 mts last year..so far so good for 2013.
Two more designs are done and need to be photo'd. I did one on the Ellegante and one on the Husvarna Designer 1.  These are intended for 16" pillows. Stay tuned.

The Fashionesta Gals are designs from Embroidery Library. In real life they are Neon Bright..I used Isacord Neon thread in the skirts and cape, and they really stand out esp at night!! How would one look on your couch?
